Moneytree supports multiple methods of calculating commissions payable to agents and internal staff. Calculations can be based on market values or management fees, and can use flat, step or sliding scales. All figures are calculated in the base currency of the manager and are then converted to the currency the agent wishes to be paid in.
Thresholds in terms of the value of the business introduced or the payment exceeding a minimum amount per currency can be defined. If a payment is not released the commissions are still accrued, thus allowing the manager to still view their potential exposure.
As the calculated commissions are stored for each investment introduced by the agent, reports can be produced explaining the amount being paid and so pre-empting time consuming questions from the agents.
